My thoughts on these confusing times:

Jesus told us in Luke ^6:27"But I tell you who hear: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, ^6:28bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you. ^6:29To him who strikes you on the cheek, offer also the other; and from him who takes away your cloak, don't withhold your coat also. ^6:30Give to everyone who asks you, and don't ask him who takes away your goods to give them back again."

In time we will all come to know the reasons for God's sacrifices. Perhaps this is a small sacrifice that God has asked us to make so that America will turn again to Him. Jesus told us in John . ^3:16For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son…" Jesus was referring to Himself when He was speaking to His deciples about the sacrifice that He was about to make. He knew that He was going to suffer on the cross and that for the next three days He would battle Satan. He knew that in the end He would win. In the end, in the Revelation to John, John wrote ^1:17When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man.

He laid His right hand on me, saying, "Don't be afraid. I am the first and the last, ^1:18and the Living one. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. I have the keys of Death and of Hades.
